Setting / Initializing Different Exam For a Class

This tutorial will show you, how you can set exam (i.e. FA-1, FA-2,...., Final etc.) for different classes.

1. Navigate to Examination from the left menu.

2. Select Exam Pattern Settings.

  • A new window will open. This will show you all Classes for that Session.
  • On the right side of each class, you will find Set Exam button.
3. Click on Set Exam for the corresponding class you want to set Exam Pattern for.

A new window will open as shown below.

4. Set the value for corresponding field.

  • These values are set for one class. ( i.e here class 9 is selected)
  • Board: For which board you want to set exam. (i.e Class 9, CBSE Board)
  • Medium: Medium of Education (i.e Class 9, CBSE, English Medium Board)
  • Exam Pattern: Value entered in this field will become the name of examination. (i.e FA-1, FA-2, Final.. etc.)
  • Database Field: This field will list a series of exam i.e Exam 1, Exam 2,.......
NOTE : For different Exam Pattern value added, A different Database field must be selected. Else it will not accept values.  For Example.
FA-1       Exam 1
FA-2       Exam 2
FA-3       Exam 3
......
  • Exam Type : Enter Exam Type
5. Click on Submit button

Repeat the process to add more exam for that class.

Your final result will look like this and you are all done !!!

Here in the Schreenshot, we have added 3 exams for class 9 i.e FA-1, FA-2,Pre-Final which imply that these 3 exams will be conducted for class 9 on academic session 2020-2021.

You are now all set for other process of examination !!!
